Murat Yilmaz, Ph.D., is a distinguished scholar specializing in Tafseer and Qur’anic Sciences. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies from Selçuk University in Turkey, and a Master's degree in Qur'anic Exegesis from Ankara University. Dr. Yilmaz completed his Ph.D. in Islamic Studies at the International Islamic University, Islamabad, with a dissertation on Imam Ibn Katheer’s methodology in addressing perceived contradictions in the Qur'an.

Dr. Yilmaz has served as the Head of the Islamiyat Department at PakTurk International Schools & Colleges in Pakistan and has taught at numerous institutions. Currently, he teaches PhD and Master's level courses at the International Islamic University of Minnesota, including ISEC501: Qur'anic Exegesis (Tafsir), ISEC703: Methodology of Tafsir (Thematic Tafseer), and ISEC702: Advanced Studies in Usul al-Fiqh, all of which are offered in English.
